Rest tonight

If you ever feel like giving up, don't. You mean and worth so much more than you realise. You can do and be whatever you want. Take your time. Rest tonight. 

Close your eyes tight,
And in the darkness you'll find the light.
The future seems bright,
So, you might want to start the fight.
Your intricate thoughts will ignite
The spark that will control the sight.
Your other senses are not governable.
But you can choose what to see.
You are free to disagree
Although, I promise that a little bit of hope
Will help you cope with what's happening.
The future seems full of grappling
But we should stop being polite.
Accept, love and fight.
Do what brings you joy,
And destroy the hate.
It's getting late and I just can't wait
To set the record straight.
Everything will be alright
